While promoting a Blu-ray release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete with  a demo of  Final Fantasy XIII included , Square Enix shockingly revealed that Final Fantasy VII International is now available for download on the Hong Kong and Japanese Playstation Stores.

Final Fantasy VII is considered to be the most popular Japanese role-playing game of all time and the reason for the mainstream appeal of the genre, the game is a cult classic. 

Final Fantasy VII International costs 1,500 yen to download from the Japanese Playstation Store and HK$118.00 in the Hong Kong Playstation Store. No announcements have been made about a possible release in other regions, includding the western region.
