3D Realms says goodbye, thanks fans for support

In the wake of the news that Duke Nukem developer 3D Realms has been shut down, community manager Joe Siegler has issued a short goodbye message to all who have followed the developer for these long years.

“Thanks for being fans and for all your support.” - Joe Siegler

The news broke earlier this week that the developer was shutting down due to funding issues. The Duke Nukem trilogy is said to be safe according to Deep Silver but the long-in-development title Duke Nukem Forever is in flux. I guess we might have to wait another ten years for it.
