Resident Evil 5 Sells 5 million Copies

While Speaking at the Reuters Global Technology Summit in Tokyo last week, Capcom CFO Kazuhiko Abe has revealed that Resident Evil 5 has sold 5 million copies worldwide since launch. Well 4.9 million without this months sell.
According to Abe 4.4 million copies were sold worldwide in the month of the game’s release, while another 570,000 units were sold in April which makes a total of 4.9 million units sold. Add the sales figure of this month are yet to come in, he seemed pretty sure that it has passed 5 million. Now if i were him i be pretty happy,considering that many people feel like the game did not live up to the hype.
