Killzone 2: 1.27 Patch Delayed
The Killzone 2 v 1.27 patch will not be coming out this week as initially planned, the patch will include the heavily requested “High Precision” control option. Killzone.Com has reportely just got official confirmation that the patch has been delayed and will not be released this week.
When it finally does hit, the 1.27 patch will have the following affect on you:
Join a friend changes: Players can automatically join a friend’s faction and squad – even if faction balancing is on. In addition, squads and their factions are now persistent over multiple games, so friends can keep playing together continuously.
Skirmish Mode gets all badges unlocked regardless of rank
High Precision controller option: Makes the analog sticks more responsive to small movements. Turned off, the controls behave exactly as they did before the patch.
Switch Sides Manually: Players can now switch factions manually if they are unbalanced (from high to low populated faction)
Spawn Protection: Temporary Spawn Protection removed from all but base camp spawns.
Badges tweaked:
- Assault Badge: Armor ability from 100 hit points to 50 hit points.
- Tactician Badge: Sentry bots aim more accurately now, and its health is a little higher.
- Engineer Badge: Turrets have less accurate targeting of Sentry bots.
