A recent survey seeks consumer interest in a PSP game rental service. With the PSP Go pretty much confirm and UMD on its way out,a PSP that takes full advantage of the digital age and the PSN. This rental service can work and might bring a new way of revenue to game developers and Sony. Also the structure that is needed is already there, it a easy set-up.

Activision Blizzard pulled in $981 million in revenue in the first quarter of this year ending March 31. That’s up from the company’s projected $860 million (which happens to be the revenue rival EA earned in its last quarter).

Capcom is going to make its PlayStation Network presence a lot more robust as it begins releasing ports of PS1 titles and providing downloadable versions of previous PSP titles throughout the year. Joystiq spoke with Capcom’s Chris Kramer, who let them know that the company would be listening to what the community wants and figuring out internally what titles to release
